With football postponed for the moment, we’ve been thinking about who gets in Chelsea’s all-time XI.

Today we’re choosing the right winger.

Here are the nominees …

3rd – Arjen Robben

Arjen Robben wasn’t at Chelsea for long, but boy did he make an impact.

The Dutchman was at his brilliant best on the right wing, hilariously one-footed but equally devastating with pace, agility and a venomous strike when in dangerous situations.

Robben made 106 appearances for the Blues across three seasons, winning back-to-back Premier League titles before joining Real Madrid in 2007.

2nd – Pat Nevin

Chelsea have a good record with Scottish players and Pat Nevin was another tick on the checklist.

Nicknamed “Wee Pat” due to his smaller frame, his skill, speed and direct dribbling made him the creative force behind a new-look Blues side during the 1980s.

Nevin made 193 appearances across six seasons and left the west London club with a second division title in 1983/84.

And the winner is … Charlie Cooke

Not a name many will know, but Charlie Cooke has earned his podium spot here.

Signed for a club-record £72,000 in 1666, Cooke displaced iconic figure Bert Murray and impressed with his flair, willingness to take players on and more importantly end product.

He became crucial in supplying the likes of Peter Osgood and Alan Hudson during their prolific years in the early 1970s.

Cooke made 373 appearances in eight seasons for the Blues, winning an FA Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup.

Here’s how the team is looking so far …

GK: Petr Čech RB: Branislav Ivanović CB: Ron Harris CB: John Terry LB: Ashley Cole DM: Michael Essien CM: Frank Lampard AM: Gianfranco Zola RW: Charlie Cooke
