Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Athletico Paranaense midfielder Bruno Guimarães this summer.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed a stunning breakthrough in the Copa Libertadores, scoring two goals and assisting two in three appearances this season.
According to ESPN, Chelsea scouts were in Paraná to watch Bruno against Boca Juniors on April 3 but no official offer has been made.
Inter, Napoli and Lille are also interested in the midfielder who has a €40m release clause and Spanish passport – which would make a move to Europe much smoother.
The Blues are preparing for a busy summer despite their FIFA imposed two-window transfer ban, after they were found guilty for breaching rules over signing minors.
Chelsea have since appealed the decision and will put their case forward at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in April 11.
