Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has reportedly ear-marked Nabil Fekir as his number one target for the January transfer window.
The Lyon midfielder was all set to make a €60m move to Liverpool over the summer with the Reds even making an announcement video for his arrival.
However an old knee injury was picked up by the club’s doctors and as such the move collapsed at the last minute.
Fekir though, is determined to make a move to the Premier League and according to L’Equipe is interested in joining the west London outfit.
Their story indicates that the 25-year-old has even spoken with Sarri himself over a proposed move however there have been no talks between Chelsea or Lyon over a move.
It’s claimed that the French side do not want to do any more dealings with the Anfield outfit but are willing to let Fekir leave after seven years service.
