Chelsea will reportedly offer Callum Hudson-Odoi a new contract despite suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon.

Hudson-Odoi was forced off during the 2-2 draw against Burnley on Monday and underwent surgery 24 hours later to correct the problem.

According to the Telegraph, this injury will keep him out for at least six months, which has lead Bayern Munich to pursue alternative targets.

The 18-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign and saw four bids from Bayern rejected in January, even after submitting a transfer request.

His current deal expires at the end of next season and Chelsea are ready to offer £100,000-a-week in hope of securing his long-term future.

The Blues expect to lose Eden Hazard to Real Madrid this summer and view Hudson-Odoi as his natural successor on the left wing.
