It appears another English youngster is set to make a Bundesliga move.

According to Sky Sports, 19-year-old Chelsea striker Martell Taylor-Crossdale will fly to Germany this week to undergo a medical ahead of a reported move to Hoffenheim.

It’s said that Chelsea attempted to sign the Taylor-Crossdale to a new and improved deal, however, the two sides were unable to come to an agreement.

The England U-20 international was the top scorer in the U-18 Premier League back in the 2016-17 season, scoring a whopping 22 goals in 28 games.

However, Taylor-Crossdale did not have his best year with Chelsea’s Premier League 2 squad this season, failing to score over 12 matches (seven starts).

Hoffenheim appears to have an appetite for young English talent, as Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson enjoyed a fruitful loan spell in Germany this season, scoring seven goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances.

The Bundesliga outfit, who are currently in eighth place going into the final game of the season, will reportedly also sign another young English player in the next month.
