Chelsea offer Napoli Michy Batshuayi loan deal

Though Chelsea have been banned from making any signings this season and saw Gonzalo Higuaín return to Juventus after his loan spell ended, Michy Batshuayi has not seen the pitch at all for the Blues this season.

After a decent loan spell at Crystal Palace during the second half of last season, the Belgium international appears set to go on his fourth loan since 2018.

According to Italian journalist Dario Sarnataro, speaking to Radio Marte, Chelsea have offered the 25-year-old to Napoli on loan for the rest of the season with an option to buy at the end of the season.

In addition, Chelsea are reportedly willing to pay a portion of Batshuayi’s wages.

Batshuayi, who has scored 19 goals in 53 games in his Chelsea career, has also attracted interest from Roma.
