No team in the Premier League has conceded fewer goals than Chelsea but the Blues are only joint-fifth in goals scored.

And Antonio Conte wants to address the problem by bringing in an attacking player in January, according to our partners at Goal.

Goal report that Chelsea are looking for a short-term or less expensive option in this window and they will sign a bigger player in the summer.

There appear to be three options on the table.

The first would be a loan move for West Ham United’s Andy Carroll, who has scored only two goals so far this season.

Potentially more exciting for Chelsea fans is the idea of Richarlison, the Brazilian attacker who has impressed mightily for Watford since joining in the summer. The 20-year-old has five goals and four assists, despite often playing on the left wing for his club.

The final alternative named is Thorgan Hazard, the brother of Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

Thorgan spent three seasons at Chelsea from 2012 to 2015 but failed to break into the first team, going out on loan multiple times. He has since become one of the most reliable playmakers in the Bundesliga, notching six goals to go with six assists so far this season.

Michy Batshuayi could still depart this January, with Sevilla a likely destination. Chelsea are unlikely to let the Belgian go, however, unless they can secure a replacement.
