Chelsea have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race for Birmingham starlet Jude Bellingham.

Bellingham has enjoyed a stunning rise for his boyhood club, breaking Trevor Francis’ 49-year record as Birmingham’s youngest ever appearance-maker (16y 38d) earlier this season.

Manchester United expressed an interest in January and had a late £35m bid rejected, however Bellingham also expressed doubts over wanting to join the Old Trafford club.

The Blues’ interest in the teenager could, however, impact their contract talks with academy starlet Faustino Anjorin.

Talks have stalled between Chelsea and Anjorin who is said to doubt his pathway into the first team.
