Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Espanyol midfielder Nico Melamed.
Melamed has impressed for Espanyol B this season, scoring seven goals in 27 appearances.
According to Sky Italy, Chelsea have been following the 18-year-old closely and are willing to pay his €8m release clause.
The Blues are aiming to recruit more youth players that manager Frank Lampard can coach and mould into his methods.
Melamed is a left sided player by trade but is comfortable across several positions which has increased his appeal.
Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also expressed an interest.
