The transfer window in Qatar doesn’t close until 30 September and there could still be a few players from bigger clubs that could be on the move.

One of those players is none other than Everton’s Cenk Tosun, who has yet to play a single minute of Premier League football this season after the arrival of Moise Kean from Juventus sent him down the pecking order.

After not making the 18-man squad for their defeat at Bournemouth over the weekend, the Turkey international will reportedly be the subject of a ‘substantial bid’ from Qatari outfit Al-Gharafa, according to Sky Sports.

Al-Gharafa is no stranger to signing big-name talent, having signed 100-time Mexico international defender Hector Moreno over the summer, while Wesley Sneijder starred for the club last season.

Tosun had the chance to return to Turkey on loan this summer but turned down multiple offers in order to fight for his place on Marco Silva’s squad.

Since arriving at Everton in a £27m move from Beşiktaş in January 2018, Tosun has scored an unconvincing nine goals in 44 appearances for the Toffees.
