Celticâs new home strip for the 2018/19 season was officially revealed at an event in Glasgow on Monday evening.
It perhaps wonât surprise you to learn that 48-time Scottish champions will once again be adorning the traditional green and white hoops next season.
Manufactured by New Balance, the new kit features a button up collar, white shorts and green and white socks.
Speaking to the clubâs official website, Bhoysâ captain Scott Brown said he was looking forward to donning the new jersey next season.
âThat moment when you first try on the new kit is always really exciting. Everything from the design to the inspiration behind the kit is absolutely spot on this year,â he said.
âFor more than 10 years I have had the honour of pulling on the famous Celtic jersey. As a Celtic fan and player I canât wait to play in this new kit and see how it goes down with our supporters.â
Celtic missed the chance to wrap up their 49th Scottish championship when they were beaten 2-1 away at Hibernian last Saturday, but Brendan Rodgersâ side could now clinch a seventh successive title by beating fierce rivals Rangers at Celtic Park on Sunday.
âItâs always special to win a title at Celtic Park and to do it against Rangers would be fantastic. Iâm sure the fans will be loving it,â added Brown.
âIf we could win it, it would be the sweetest Rangers-Celtic victory Iâve ever experienced.
âDo we have a psychological edge over them after what happened in the semi-final? Yeah, thatâs now 10 games weâre undefeated against them so that speaks for itself.
âEvery game is different but weâre looking forward to it.â
