Werder Bremen forward Max Kruse could be on his way to one of the Bundesliga’s leading clubs.
The 30-year-old has been superb so far this season, scoring four and assisting four as Bremen have mounted a charge for a Europa League place.
Now he is being linked with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
According to Express, the top three are all considering moves for Kruse, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Gladbach are considered the most interested party. Kruse spent two seasons with the Foals from 2013-15, scoring 25 goals in 77 appearances.
However, they could face serious competition from Bayern or Dortmund.
Bayern are looking for a replacement for Sandro Wagner, who has left the club and leaves Robert Lewandowski as their only recognised striker.
Dortmund, meanwhile, are coached by Lucien Favre, who was Kruse’s boss during his time at Gladbach.
