Cenk Tosun could be on his way back to Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Turkish international played for the Bundesliga club from the age of six until 20, when he left having made just one first team appearance.
Now, though, a return may be on the cards.
According to Wiedbadener Kurier, the striker has even confirmed the possible move.
Tosun was signed by Everton in January 2018 but has gone on to score just eight goals in 39 Premier League appearances.
By the end of last season the 28-year-old was behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the pecking order. Brazilian international Richarlison can also lead the line, while new signing Moise Kean provides yet more competition.
Though the Premier League transfer window is closed, Frankfurt have until 2 September to seal any signings.
The Eagles have sold Sébastien Haller and Luka Jović this summer and need more depth in attack.
