Sporting midfielder Bruno Fernandes has denied reports of a transfer agreement between him and Manchester United.

Fernandes was a standout performer for the Lions last season, scoring 32 goals and assisting 18 in 53 appearances.

However, despite United pushing for his signature, the 24-year-old insists his future is yet to be decided.

“I’m with Sporting,” he told Record. “There are no contacts with any club, at least as far as I know.

“There is a lot of talk, there are sure to be clubs interested but to this day, my focus has always been placed on Sporting.

“I’ve spent two intense years, I don’t know if I will spend a third year, I don’t know if I’m going to leave. No one knows the future.

“I gave my best – blood, sweat and tears for this club – and will continue to do so whenever I wear this jersey.”

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the Portugal international.
