Youri Tielemans has been an absolute hit at Leicester since he and Adrien Silva were involved in a swap loan deal in January.
Silva has also been doing fantastically at Monaco, who have risen from the ashes and look to be safe from relegation in Ligue 1.
The 21-year-old Tielemans has scored a goal and added three assists in six Premier League matches this season and manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed talks have begun with Monaco over a permanent switch.
“Yes,” Rodgers said in response to that very question. “I think the work will be ongoing.
“Of course there is a hole in terms of the head of recruitment. However, the work has been going on below that.
“I have a meeting this afternoon with the international scouts and all the scouts coming in and we will look through a lot of that work.
“There are a lot of good people behind the scenes who will be continuing the work.
“It will be important for us as we want to strengthen in the summer.”
Leicester are three points behind Wolves for that all-important seventh-place spot and host Bournemouth on Saturday.
