Borussia Dortmund are set to be without Christian Pulisic for ‘at least two weeks’ due to the recurrence of a hamstring injury.
It is the second time this season that Pulisic has suffered a torn muscle fibre this season, with soft tissue problems beginning to concern the club.
According to kicker, the 20-year-old suffered the injury against Tottenham on February 13 and will now miss the second-leg of their Champions League clash.
The American has found himself marginalised under Lucien Favre but this remains a sizeable blow for the club who are already struggling with injuries.
Dortmund travelled to Nürnberg on Sunday Pulisic, Marco Reus, as well as key defenders Lukasz Piszczek and Manuel Akanji.
Paco Alcácer and Julian Weigl did travel, however, after recovering from shoulder injuries and flu respectively.
