Inter Milan teenage centre-back Lorenzo Pirola put on a show at the U-17 World Cup with Italy before his side bowed out in the quarter-finals.
Pirola’s displays have hardly gone unnoticed as a few of Europe’s elite have shown interest in the Primavera defender.
According to TMW, Borussia Dortmund are the latest to track Pirola in addition to Manchester United and Manchester City.
The six-foot-one defender impressed so much at the U-17 World Cup in Brazil that it’s being reported by Gazzetta dello Sport that Antonio Conte could integrate Pirola into the first-team.
Pirola is under contract until 2021 and played every single minute for Italy’s U-17s at the World Cup and at this past summer’s European championship, where his side reached the final.
