Borussia Dortmund have been extremely busy in the transfer market and have already signed Thorgan Hazard, Julian Brandt, and Nico Schulz.
Now, they’re eyeing one of this decade’s more prominent strikers in Europe.
According to Bild, Dortmund are lining up a move for Mario Mandžukić, who still has two years remaining on his contract at Juventus.
The 33-year-old scored nine goals and added seven assists in 25 Serie A appearances this year despite not making much of a dent in the Champions League.
It’s believed that the Dortmund brass want to sign a player with the Croatian’s experience in order to assist the many youth stars at the Bundesliga club.
Mandžukić has previously spent four years in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich.
