It’s a crucial point in the América season as they have one week to prepare to defend their Liga MX title, one month after lifting the Copa MX crown.
However, it does not mean they haven’t started to look toward next season and according to multiple outlets, they have had their eyes set on Boca Juniors star Nahitan Nández.

However, Boca may price out the champions, as they reportedly want €20m for the midfielder.
If Las Aguilas were to shell out the cash for the 23-year-old Uruguayan, which is incredibly unlikely, it would be a historic fee.
Signing Nández for what Boca are asking would shatter the Liga MX transfer record. Rayados broke the previous record of €10m in January when they brought in Maxi Meza from Independiente for €14m.
