Blackpool are reportedly ready to make a January swoop for misfiring Sunderland striker Will Grigg.
Grigg has been a major disappointment at the Stadium of Light since signing from Wigan in January, netting just four goals this term and only one in the league.
The Northern Ireland international came off the bench on Saturday as the Black Cats drew once again this season, at home to Blackpool.
And according to the Sun, Tangerines boss Simon Grayson – who worked with Grigg at Sunderland – is keen to reunite with the forward and offer him a way out of the north east.
It’s claimed that the deal would only be a short-term loan move for now, with Sunderland open to a deal so long as the club takes on all his wages.
