The French striker scored four goals in a 6-1 rout of the Argentina U20s while staying home from international duty.

A number of senior players including Karim Benzema and Luka Modrić played alongside a group of Real Madrid, as they thrashed the youth side at Valdebebas.

The Frenchman has drawn heavy criticism from fans having scored just four goals in La Liga this season, even though Zinedine Zidane is still in support of the player.

Benzema has continued to shows he is a team player, providing a whopping eight assists.

Olivier Giroud, Antoine Griezmann, Anthony Martial and Kylian Mbappe have all been selected in favor of the 30-year-old, as Benzema hasn’t featured for France since 2015.

He is a longshot to make the World Cup squad and may be sold to make way for better attacking options this summer.
