Cristiano Ronaldo turned 35 earlier this week yet he is going through one of the better seasons of his career, scoring 19 goals in as many Serie A contests this term, netting in nine straight league matches.

Various German media outlets have recently linked the Portuguese legend to a blockbuster move to Bayern Munich but club president Herbert Hainer has denied any possibility of such a transfer, labelling Ronaldo ‘too old’ for Bayern.

“Of course there are always names floating around in the media linking players to the club and that is something totally understandable,” he told TZ.

“But Cristiano Ronaldo would be too old for us.”

His brace against Fiorentina last weekend took Ronaldo to 50 goals with Juventus in just 70 appearances in all competitions.
