Steven Bergwijn’s agent has insisted there is no deadline on a potential move to Bayern Munich.
The PSV winger has been contacted by the German giants but reports had suggested that Bergwijn’s agent, Fulco van Kooperen wanted an agreement by the end of this week.
However, the Dutchman has moved to deny those claims.
“We haven’t said that we will lose patience,” van Kooperen told ESPN.
“Bayern are a great club and it’s great that they are interested in Steven. They can take all the time they need.”
And they might just do that.
According to SportBild, Bayern are still hoping to secure a deal for either Ousmane Dembélé or Leroy Sané this summer.
Bergwijn, though, remains in reserve as a viable backup plan.
