Jann-Fiete Arp is a wanted man, with Bayern Munich interested in the striker.

Still just 18, Arp impressed during his debut Bundesliga season with relegated Hamburg.

The teenager has refused to sign a new contract with Hamburg but the club have not yet received any offers that would tempt them into selling him.

Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen have both been linked with Arp but, according to Wednesday’s edition of Bild, it is Bayern who have made a €2.5m offer.

If  he were to join Bayern now he would probably play for their U23 side in Germany’s fourth tier, so the German champions are said to be happy to see him remain at Hamburg to play regularly in the second division.

With just one year to go on his contract, Arp could move for free next summer, hence Bayern’s low offer.

The 18-year-old is said to be determined to join Bayern and could happily wait another year before signing for them for free.
