Bayern appear as if they want to replace departing stars Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry with some very young and exciting talent.

According to Bild, Benfica starlet João Filipe, also known as Jota, is high on Bayern’s radar and could be brought in if they are unable to secure the services of Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Though Jota lacks first-team experience, earning just a lone Europa League start and two very brief cameos in Liga NOS action, clubs around the world are attempting to get their hands on the U-21 international for a relatively low price tag.

It’s said that, with a reported €30m release clause, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Tottenham are all interested in the young winger.

Jota is under contract at Benfica until summer 2022.
