West Ham, Milan, and Bayern have failed in their attempts to land talented teenage Turkish centre-back Ozan Kabak.
That’s according to a report from Bild, who state Kabak has elected to remain in Germany and will sign a deal to move to Schalke.
After Stuttgart were relegated to the 2. Bundesliga, the 19-year-old became a big target for teams all around Europe as his contract contained an affordable £13m release clause.
Kabak reportedly rejected an offer from Milan which included a salary of over €1m and a guaranteed regular place in their starting XI.
Bayern also offered Kabak a generous deal but could not guarantee any playing time.
West Ham will not be too concerned, as they have a solid centre-back rotation of Fabian Balbuena, Issa Diop, Angelo Ogbonna, and Winston Reid.
