Bayern Munich are reportedly eyeing RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano as an alternative transfer option to Lucas Hernández.
The Bavarians looked to have secured an €80m move for Hernández in January, before the defender opted to postpone negotiations.
According to Sportbild, Bayern have shortlisted Upamecano for his physicality and versatility as they continue rebuilding their squad.
However, the Frenchman will not come cheap, after Leipzig extended his contract in 2017 which included a €100m release clause.
Sportbild also claim that Real Madrid and Manchester United are interested in Upamecano who is seen as one of Europe’s most exciting prospects.
Long-term target Benjamin Pavard will also join the club this summer after agreeing a €35m move from Stuttgart.
