As announced last week, Max Kruse is leaving Werder Bremen this summer and now he could be headed to the German champions.
According to a report from Sport1, Bayern are interested in bringing in Max Kruse to mainly back up Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller.
Bayern are particularly attracted by Kruse’s versatility to play both striker and on the wing.
The 31-year-old scored 12 goals and contributed 14 assists in 36 appearances in all competitions this year as he helped lead Werder Bremen to an eighth-placed Bundesliga finish.
The 14-time German international is available on a free transfer as his contract expires this summer.
