Bayern Munich and Tottenham officials were reportedly spotted in Lisbon after scouting Benfica wonderkid Jota.

The 19-year-old has been a standout performer for Benfica B this season and earned a promotion to the senior side in February.

According to Record, both clubs are keen on signing Jota before he breaks into the first team like €120m-rated João Félix.

The tricky winger alerted scouts across Europe after scoring five goals for Portugal in the Under-19 European Championships last summer.

Bayern are already planning to freshen up their frontline with Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry leaving, with Tottenham searching for versatile attackers to supplement their current options.

Jota signed a new five-year deal in July which included a €30m release clause, however, Benfica are hoping to increase this figure with re-negotiated terms.
