Barcelona have reportedly set in motion ‘Operation Neymar’ to bring the Brazilian goalscorer back to Camp Nou.

The Selecao striker is apparently ready to call time on his career at Parc des Princes after just two seasons in the French capital.

A report in Goal has stated that the Catalan giants have been in touch with Neymar’s people over a proposed move, with both the Blaugrana and the player wanting the move to happen.

Neymar left Barça for PSG in a world-record move in 2017 but has become unhappy at the Ligue 1 giants due to a lack of competitiveness and the emergence of Kylian Mbappé.

And the Goal story claims that the 26-year-old’s representatives have been in touch with board members at Camp Nou, reiterating the goalscorer’s desire to come back to Catalunya.

For any move to happen though, Barcelona would reportedly want Neymar to publicly state that it was a mistake to ever leave the club, and would require him to take a drastic pay cut from his current €40m per year wages.
