Barcelona are reportedly set to extend the contract of midfielder Arturo Vidal.
Vidal has impressed since joining the club from Bayern Munich last summer, making 46 appearances across all competitions.
According to SPORT, Barça are ‘delighted’ with his performances and will offer him a one-year extension on his three-year deal.
The 31-year-old had a slow start in Catalunya, but is said to have won manager Ernesto Valverde over with his tenacity and leadership qualities.
Barça are in the process of rebuilding their midfield with Arthur and Frenkie de Jong both arriving, while André Gomes and Ivan Rakitić could depart this summer.
