The double has been secured and there are four games left to play but Barcelona now have an eye on the summer.

Local media Mundo Deportivo report that, with the LaLiga title secured, the club’s focus has now turned to planning to defend it.

That won’t be enough, though.

A third consecutive season without reaching the Champions League semi-finals is a huge blow for a club of Barça’s size and they will set out to correct their mistakes.

With that in mind, the club are fixated on signing Antoine Griezmann from Atlético Madrid and head coach Ernesto Valverde has reportedly given the ok to trigger the Frenchman’s €100m release clause.

Mundo Deportivo say the club are now just working on convincing Griezmann to make the move.

Bringing Griezmann in would surely mean someone has to leave but as of now there is no real speculation surrounding the futures of Luis Suárez and Ousmane Dembélé.
