Barcelona are reportedly open to letting Ivan Rakitić leave in January after the midfielder went public with his frustrations at a lack of game time.
Rakitić has barely featured for the Blaugrana this term following the arrival of Frenkie de Jong and conceded earlier this week that he “wasn’t in Barcelona to stroll along the beach”.
Under contract until 2021, the Croatia international had been promised a new deal by club president Josep Maria Bartomeu but that has so far failed to materialise.
As such, the 31-year-old is on the hunt for a new challenge and has been heavily linked with both Manchester United and Juventus.
Barcelona opted against selling the midfielder over the summer, but AS say that they will likely allow Rakitić to go during the winter window, potentially for as little as €25m.
