Barcelona in 'advanced talks' for €106m-rated striker Rodrigo

Barcelona are reportedly in advanced talks with Valencia for striker Rodrigo Moreno.

Rodrigo enjoyed a productive 2018/19 campaign, scoring 15 goals and assisting 10 across all competitions.

According to SPORT, Barça have agreed to pay his €106m release clause amid uncertainty surrounding Antoine Griezmann.

Griezmann announced he would be leaving Atlético Madrid this summer but the Nou Camp dressing room are said to be ‘unconvinced’ by his signing.

The LaLiga giants are also tempted to offer midfielder Denis Suárez in order to drive the price down.

Barça are also working on a deal to sign Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt but continue to stumble over financial demands.
