Aston Villa are set to lose three of their key men this summer in a bid to cut their sky high wage bill.

Villa have the 20th biggest wage bill in British football but are currently outside the play-off places in the Championship and look likely to miss out on Premier League football next term.

As such, the hierarchy at Villa Park are looking to cull some of their higher earners whose contract are set to expire.

Mile Jedinak, Glenn Whelan and Albert Adomah will all be sacrificed as manager Dean Smith plans a rebuild.
