Aston Villa have agreed an €11m fee with Kasimpasa for Egyptian winger Mahmoud Trezeguet.
That’s according to Turkish outlet TRT Spor, who claim the exceptional talent could be arriving at Villa Park in the coming days.
Kasimpasa vice president Hasan Hilmi Oksuz had previously admitted the Süper Lig side had rejected an initial bid of €7.5m for the 24-year-old, who starred at the Africa Cup of Nations and was part of Egypt’s World Cup squad.
Trezeguet is believed to have preferred a Premier League move amid outside interest from both Watford and Sampdoria.
Last season with Kasimpasa, the Egyptian scored nine goals and added a further 10 assists. He’s now set to link up with fellow countryman Ahmed Elmohamady.
