Arsenal are still interested in signing Yannick Carrasco this summer after missing out on him in January.

The Gunners tried to sign Carrasco on loan during the winter window but the move broke down when they were unable to agree a loan fee with his current club Dalian Yifang.

But the Express report that Unai Emery still wants the Belgian and he could move to the Emirates at the end of the season.

However, Carrasco will likely have to take a significant pay-cut if he is to move to north London. The 25-year-old reportedly earns £8.8m a year at the moment and with Arsenal keen to reduce their wage bill, something will have to give.

Carrasco moved to Dalian Yifang from Atlético Madrid 12 months ago and though he did find the net in his side’s 1-1 draw with Dalian Aerbin on Sunday, he has struggled to settle in the Chinese Super League.

The speedy winger is understood to be keen on a return to European football and Arsenal could face competition from AC Milan and Inter Milan for his signature this summer.
