Arsenal are set to rekindle their interest in Roma midfielder Steven Nzonzi this summer with the Frenchman having failed to settle in Serie A.
Nzonzi was a target for the Gunners last season after he had impressed for Spanish side Sevilla.
The World Cup winner eventually opted for a move to the Eternal City but has struggled to adapt to life in Rome and has fallen down the midfield pecking order.
The Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Unai Emery will look to make a move for the 30-year-old come the end of the season as the tactician wants to bolster his options in that department with the player himself keen on a move to the Premier League.
Roma paid €26m for Nzonzi’s signature eight months ago and are said to want to at least recoup their money this time around.
