Arsenal are no longer the only club chasing Wilfried Zaha.
According to the Evening Standard, Everton are now hoping to agree a deal for the Crystal Palace winger.
Up until now, Arsenal appeared to be the only team in the running for the Ivorian international and had seen a £40m knocked back by Palace.
However, Everton could yet enter the race.
Zaha, who handed in a transfer request on Thursday, is a boyhood Arsenal fan and his brother has insisted he wants to join the Gunners.
Everton could be an interesting alternative, though, as they look to break into the top six.
The Toffees are close to selling Ademola Lookman to RB Leipzig for over £20m and could quickly reinvest.
Farhad Moshiri, the Merseyside club’s majority shareholder, is a huge fan of Zaha, the report claims.
The winger still has four years remaining on his contract at Selhurst Park and Palace will be unwilling to sell him for less than £80m.
