According to AS, the Gunners received a positive response after contacting the player who wants to return to Europe.

The 25-year-old would even be willing to take a pay cut – from his €10m p/a wages – in order to push through a deal.

Unai Emery hinted that a winger would be on his January shortlist and has turned to Carrasco with other options proving too expensive.

The report also claims that Manchester United and AC Milan are interested in the former Atlético man, but his preference is Arsenal.
