Arsenal are set to be handed a fitness boost tomorrow when Laurent Koscileny makes his senior return after seven months out.
The 33-year-old ruptured his Achilles tendon at the start of last year and has been on the sidelines ever since.
Koscileny played 45 minutes on Monday as Arsenal’s Under-23s lost to Derby but the Evening Standard understands that club doctors have given him the green light to travel with the first team this week.
The Gunners face Vorskla Poltava in the Europa League, with the match, late on Tuesday evening, being moved to Kyiv for safety reasons.
It’s thought that Unai Emery will make wholesale changes to his XI ahead of the north London derby on Sunday, and is likely to give the former France international at least some minutes.
