Arsenal want Ivan Gazidis’ future resolved in the next two weeks as he mulls over an offer from Italian giants AC Milan.

Following the club’s recent takeover by Elliott Management, Gazidis has been offered a role to become their new chief executive as they plan a dramatic rebuild.

According to Mail Sport, the offer from Milan is understood to be in the region of €3.9m per year – a figure that eclipses his current €2m salary.

Gazidis would be an untimely loss for Arsenal after playing a lead role in implementing key changes – namely the departure of Arsène Wenger and appointment of new manager Unai Emery as his successor.

It’s understood there is a growing feeling among the Emirates hierarchy that Gazidis will accept the offer and leave north London after nearly a decade.

Josh Kroenke – son of owner Stan – has played a prominent role at the club in recent months and could emerge as a candidate to replace the 53-year-old.
