Arjen Robben admits he is “not feeling so good” as he steps up his recovery from a hamstring problem.

Robben suffered the injury against Benfica in December but was scheduled to be back for their Bundesliga return against Hoffenheim on January 18.

However, after training with the group during their winter camp in Doha, the 35-year-old insists he is not yet ready to feature.

“I’m not feeling so good,” he told Bild. “I can’t say when I will return, but we’ll take things from day to day.

“Me and the medical team, we’re working on it, but right now it’s not looking so good. We have to wait and see.”

Bayern have options in the absence of Robben, with Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry and new recruit Alphonso Davies ready for action.
