Five other stadiums in Brazil, including the Maracanã, were selected as finalists as well as the Estadio Nacional in Lima, Peru, and the Estadio Mario Kempes in Argentina.

This year’s edition of the Copa Libertadores, which will be held at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile, is the first tournament where the final will be played as a one-off match.

CONMEBOL also named the four finalists to host the 2020 Sudamericana final.

The official decisions will be made on Thursday.
