Chivas new boy Antonio Briseño realises the minutes will not come as easily for him now as they did at Feirense.

Although Briseño knows Hiram Mier and Oswaldo Alanís are the most likely options to begin the season as starters, the 25-year-old is looking to make his mark and help Chivas reach new heights.

“I know it’s difficult because I have two very strong competitors that are Mier and Alanis, but the nice thing is that we’re all going to grow.

“In the end, if the team wins, whoever is on the field doesn’t matter.”

Briseño and Chivas will get their International Champions Cup campaign started on Tuesday when they take on Fiorentina in Chicago.
