Andrés Iniesta to confirm China move 'on Friday' | OneFootball

Andrés Iniesta will reportedly announce his move to the Chinese Super League on Friday.

The Barcelona midfielder has long been linked with a move away from Camp Nou, with the veteran confirming last week that he was leaving the club after a 22-year association.

There was expected to be an announcement on Tuesday or Wednesday, however Marca are reporting that the official confirmation will come on Friday afternoon.

The Blaugrana squad have been on a four-day break following their Copa del Rey success last weekend against Sevilla.

And the paper has revealed that the 33-year-old will tell his team-mates the news when they report for training in the morning.

There will then be a news conference, where it is expected that the World Cup-winner will reveal he is joining Chongqing Dangdai Lifan.
