Andrea Favilli scored a pair of goals against Bayern Munich and then another one in the MLS All-Star Game during Juventus’ United States pre-season tour.
Genoa will acquire the 21-year-old on a season-long loan, with the option to buy the player at the end of the season.
Juventus officially announced the details of the loan move on their website Thursday.
“Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with Genoa Cricket and Football Club S.p.A. for the loan, until 30 June 2019, of the registration rights of the player Andrea Favilli has been reached for a consideration of € 5 million to be paid in three financial years.
“The agreement also provides Genoa Cricket and Football Club S.p.A. the option right, to be exercised at the end of 2018/2019 football season, for the definitive acquisition of the player at a price of € 7 million to be paid in three financial years.”
Favilli has spent the past two seasons in Serie B with Livorno and then Ascoli after he played a year with Juventus’ Primavera squad.
