Early on Monday, reports out of Ghana claimed that Leeds United were ‘preparing an audacious offer’ for Swansea City winger André Ayew in January.

Ayew, who will celebrate his 30th birthday on Tuesday, has been in sensational form this season, scoring nine goals and assisting another four in just 21 matches.

However, Ayew was quick to shut down any speculation on his future.

“I’m not thinking at all about that,” the Ghana captain told BBC.

“I’m here, I’m 100% here just thinking about the next game, that’s Luton. That’s speculation, that’s what people are going to say.

“I’m just focusing on what’s ahead of me and I’m happy here so that’s not something I think about.”

Swansea bought Ayew back from West Ham for £20m in January 2018 after selling him to the Hammers for £22m just 18 months prior.
