América continue to recover from their early-season injury woes and can expect two of their best players to return for this weekend’s big clash against Querétaro.

Both Paraguayan centre-back Bruno Valdez and Colombian attacker Nicolás Benedetti have already started working with the first team.

It’s likely that they will join Gio dos Santos and Henry Martin by getting on the pitch this weekend. The aforementioned duo got their first minutes back on the pitch in this past weekend’s duel with Pumas.

Meanwhile, Nico Castillo has already started his rehabilitation and could be set to return in the next week or two.

Heading into Saturday’s huge match, América find themselves in fourth place on 17 points, one point behind Necaxa, Querétaro, and Santos Laguna, though Querétaro and Santos each have a game in hand.
