Despite suffering from a plethora of injuries in the first half of the season, AC Milan have managed to put together a fourth-placed Serie A campaign.
Now, according to a report from Calciomercato, Milan are about to receive a huge double injury boost, as defenders Alessio Romagnoli and Mateo Musacchio are both set to make a full return this week.
Musacchio completed a full training session with the first team and could feature against Olympiacos in Thursday’s all-important Europa League clash.
However, Romagnoli sat out the last phase of training and will likely miss Thursday’s match, although he should be in line to face Bologna over the weekend.
Milan are currently one point behind leaders Real Betis and lead the Greek side by three points and have a two-goal advantage on goal difference.
The Italians won the first meeting 3-1, meaning that Olympiacos will have to win by two goals in order to advance to the knockout stage.
